Do you offer discounts for group bookings?
Answer: If couples or groups want to attend a Kanreki seminar, we offer a 10% discount on the price, reducing it from £250 + VAT to £225 + VAT per person.
What if my company won’t pay for me?
Answer: At Kanreki we welcome delegates who have decided to come of their own accord, as much as we welcome those who have had their place paid for by their company. We appreciate that not all organisations are equally diligent about their duty of care to employees, but we do not believe this should stop anyone attending who wants to. We know the seminar content is tremendously beneficial to those who do attend, and at Kanreki we want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy the full potential of their retirement.
Do I have to attend both days?
Answer: Our retirement seminars have been designed to provide the optimum range of information and opportunities relevant to you during this transition. Therefore, in order to gain maximum benefit from your attendance, it is important that you are there for all of both days.
What do I need to bring with me?
Answer: We have organised these seminars so that you do not need to bring anything. Refreshments and lunch is included in the delegate price, paper and pens will be provided and many speakers will also have handouts that you can take away for your own reference. All you need to bring is an open mind and a willingness to listen!
Will there be an opportunity to ask questions?
Answer: Each of our speakers will be available to answer questions at the end of their presentation. However, we do appreciate that some of your questions may be sensitive or personal and so you may prefer to talk to them individually. The days have been structured to allow significant opportunities for you to talk to speakers on an individual basis, either over coffee or lunch, and if further time is required you can then set up an independent meeting with them to discuss the issue in greater depth. Most of our speakers will be happy to do this at no charge to you, although some costs may be incurred if significant time or resources are required.
What if I have special dietary requirements?
Answer: If you have any specific dietary requirements, please notify us at the time of booking. We will then ensure that the hotel is made aware of your requirements so you too can relax and enjoy a deliciously prepared meal.
I’m disabled will I be able to access the seminar room?
Answer: The hotel has full facilities for disabled people, and our event is held in a ground floor room to ensure maximum convenience for all delegates. If you are concerned about your specific needs, please do call us and we will be happy to provide any further assistance that we can.
What if I have to cancel at short notice?
Answer: If you need to cancel your place at a Kanreki seminar, we hope that you will be able to transfer your attendance to another date from our series. However, if you can no longer attend at all, a full refund will be provided up to 7 days before the seminar is due to start.
